Why  solid vinyl instead of aluminum?

Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) is the building material of the future. It is fast replacing a lot of the building materials of the past. PVC is now being used to manufacture a wide variety of items such as doors, shutters, rails, decking, shelving, and cabinets just to mention a few. You name it, they can probably make it out of PVC cheaper and better.

Now it's being used to make our New Pet Door. Why solid vinyl ?, well among other things it's weather resistant, impervious to the rays of the sun, it has superior insulation properties and will not get hot to the touch when exposed to the sun. Plus, it will not fade, warp or discolor. Best of all, it's less expensive to manufacture, allowing us to pass the savings on to our valued customers.
